Bronte BIA Annual Tree-Lighting Celebration: At Home in Bronte for the Holidays

- Location: Bronte Market Square, 2445 Lakeshore Rd W & along Lakeshore Rd W
- Parking: Free parking available at the waterfront lot on Ontario St. and at The Village on Bronte Rd in “Retail Visitor” spaces
Event Highlights
- Meet Santa & Mrs. Claus: Photo opportunities from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM, with a letter drop-off mailbox for Santa.
- Synthetic Ice Rink: Free skating and skate rentals.
- Live Music:
- 3:00 PM – Gigi Noche
- 4:00 PM – Ol’ Timey Doctors
- 6:00 PM – MattErrs Psylence
- Caroling: Led by The Tempus Choral Society from 5:00 PM – 5:45 PM.
- Holiday Market: Over 20 vendors along Lakeshore Rd W.
- Doggy Photobooth: Presented by The Dog House Spa.
- Food Trucks: BeaverTails and Shircuterie Co., with seating available for enjoying treats.
- Tree Lighting Ceremony: Official lighting at 5:30 PM with special guests, including MPP Crawford, Mayor Burton, and Ward 1 Councillors.
Community Giving Guests are encouraged to bring donations to support Safetynet, an organization aiding financially disadvantaged families. Suggested items include socks, men’s underwear, gloves, hats, and scarves. A collection bin will be on-site.
